Cette ville est très agréable, assez étendue, avec une mixité plus grande.

Nous avons visité les jardins botaniques, fait un tour dans la rainforest et passé une matinée dans un centre culturel aborigène. La visite était instructive et avons participé à quelques activités.

Un peu fatigués par cette longue route, nous nous sommes posés tranquillement dans notre super camping…

Nous repartons pour Sydney pour le week-end avant de nous envoler pour la Nouvelle-Calédonie.

Very attractive road which led us up to Cairns where we end our road-trip.
This city is very pleasant, spread enough, with a bigger mixing.
We visited botanical gardens, made a tour in the rainforest and spent one morning in an aboriginal cultural center. The visit was instructive and we participated in some activities.
A little tired by this long road, we settled quietly in our great campsite …
We leave for Sydney for the weekend before flying away for New Caledonia.

Nous avons découvert un nouveau palmier que nous avons beaucoup aimé : le "palmier-plumeau" !

We discovered a new palm tree which we liked a lot : the "palm tree-feather duster"!

De nouveau, un super emplacement. (Again, a great location.)

Mais ce qui nous aura le plus marqués, c’est l’ambiance du pays. Les australiens sont décontractés, accueillants et avenants. Ils sont très respectueux de la nature et de la vie en communauté.

On sent que ce « jeune » pays a beaucoup à offrir.

Pour vous dire, c’est le premier pays traversé depuis le début de notre aventure dans lequel nous pourrions envisager de nous installer ! Pour le moment, ce qui nous retient, c’est la distance…

We knew that Australia was a beautiful country and we looked forward to discovering his landscapes and the animals that we find only here. Actually, we had height eyes! And nevertheless, we saw only a quite small part of this immense country …
But what will have the most marked us, it is the atmosphere of the country. The Australian are relaxed, welcoming and pleasant. They are very respectful of the nature and the life in community.
We smell that this "young" country has to offer a lot.
To tell you, it is the first country crossed from the beginning of our adventure in which we could intend to settle down! For the moment, what holds us, it is the distance …
