Nous décidons de rester 2 nuits dans cette ville qui jouxte « 1770 », la ville dans laquelle le capitaine Cook a installé la première colonie anglaise en Australie cette même année.</p>
<p>
Nous sommes étonnés de croiser si peu de gens d’origine aborigène, mais nous apprenons qu’ils ne représentent que 2% de la population et qu’ils se trouvent plus à l’intérieur du pays.</p>
<p>
Nous allons découvrir « la grande barrière de corail » par le biais d’une croisière.</p>
<p>
L’eau est turquoise et même sans plonger, nous pouvons admirer ces si jolis fonds marins.</p>
<p>
On a également bien profité de la plage…</p>

<em>We decide to stay 2 nights in this city which adjoins "1770", the city in which captain Cook settled the first English colony in Australia the same year.</em><br />
<em>We are amazed to meet so few people of aboriginal origin, but we learn that they represent only 2 % of the population and that they are more inside the country.<br />
We are going to discover " the Great Barrier Reef " by means of a cruise.<br />
The water is turquoise blue and also without diving, we can admire this so attractive sea bed.<br />
We also well took advantage of the beach…</em></p>
