Nous avons visité le site du Machu Picchu, un site inca très important. Il a été abandonné pendant plus de 400 ans. Pendant tout ce temps, la végétation l'avait complétement recouvert et du coup, on ne savait plus où il était. Il a été redécouvert en 1911 par un américain.
Nous avons eu une guide en espagnol et Papa et Maman m’ont traduit. Comme maman va vous expliquer des choses, je vous raconte juste une anecdote que j'ai bien aimé.
L’empire inca était un très grand empire, quand les conquistadores sont arrivés, ils ont voulu le détruire.
Le conquistador espagnol Pizarro a voulu tuer le dernier empereur inca, il l’a cherché pendant plus de 10 ans. Il a fini par le trouver, lui a coupé la tête et l’a jetée sur la place des Armes, à Cuzco. C'est la fin du grand empire incas.
Nous avons bien marché pour découvrir le Machu Picchu mais ça en valait la peine !
Nous avons longé les rails pendant plus de 2h30 pour atteindre le village.
Et le lendemain, la magnifique découverte du Machu Picchu.
Bizzarement, nous nous sommes d'abord éloignés...
Mais "Waouh" !
Maravilloso !
Puis, la visite guidée en espagnol.
C'est un miroir inca, il faut l'imaginer avec une plaque d'argent au fond de l'eau...
